Overview

Students commit to a full competition season: design reviews, timed builds, and relentless iteration against a real rulebook and a real clock.

It's demanding — and it's the fastest way to grow. Team members mentor each other, split into sub-teams, and carry a robot from first concept to the competition floor.

The season

Break the season's challenge down to scoring maths and pick the strategy the team will build around.

Reliable autonomy under competition constraints — sensor fusion, state machines, and recovery behaviour.

Tolerances matter when a run is decided in seconds. CAD, print, test, remake — fast.

Track every design and firmware change so the robot that scores is the robot you can rebuild.

Weekly scored runs against the clock. What survives contact with the mat is what goes to nationals.

Engineering journals, poster sessions, and the story of your design — points live here too.
