The ranking
Sort by any column to see who leads on a single measure. Overall is the weighted total of the six pillars — it is calculated, never entered by hand.
Scores run 0–100 within each pillar. “—” means the indicator has not been collected yet. Trend is places moved since the previous edition.
What we measure, and why
Six pillars, weighted. The bias is deliberate: teaching and what students actually build carry more than prestige, because a degree that never reaches a working prototype has not taught engineering.
Sources, limits and corrections
[SOURCES] — list every source and the year it covers: NUC and COREN accreditation records, institutional returns, a bibliometric database for publication and citation counts, graduate outcome surveys, and site visits. Name them explicitly; a ranking whose sources are vague cannot be checked.
Each indicator is scaled 0–100 against the best performer in that indicator, then combined into its pillar score. Pillar scores are multiplied by the weights on this page to give the overall. State your treatment of missing data — an institution that did not report an indicator should not silently score zero.
It does not measure teaching an individual student will receive, the strength of any one department against another inside the same school, or anything about non-engineering faculties. Small differences in overall score are not meaningful — treat institutions within a few points of each other as a band, not an order.
Any institution can request its underlying figures and submit a correction. Corrections that change a score are published with the table. Write to hello@roboticsdiaries.org.
